More Information About My Workshop
Custom Orders?
I do custom order work, you will need to be exacting in what you are looking for, pictures help for ideas. Payment schedule depends on the work and/or project design/cost.
how do you get paid?
I will take PayPal payments, also I can take credit/debit cards/cash in a face to face sale. I do not recommend doing cards over the phone. I sell through Etsy, which has a good secure payment system.
Can I request bulk items?
I can do bulk items, but the completion time will depend on what is being done and how complex. Also, there likely will be some differences in items even though they were all made together.
Can I repeat buy items?
One item I have repeat buyers for is my cedar soap tray. I sell those in bulk and have several that buy again and again for their shops. I can set up a schedule for you to ensure I have on hand the items you need when you need them. Scheduled orders are welcome!
Frequently asked questions
I make all kinds of wood projects, furniture to pens. I have done kitchen cabinets and bedroom furniture, also games and puzzles. I am open to all kinds of woodworking projects.
Time to complete a project depends on the project complexity. Small items such as most games I do take between two and four weeks to complete.
I can take your ideas and drawings and make a close estimate on cost and time to complete before we actually cut any wood. I am open to most all custom work.
Most small items can be shipped using USPS or UPS, some larger items may go FedEx Freight. Very large items may be requested for pick up only or special delivery services for travel fees.
Yes, I do offer a guarantee on my work, however misuse and abuse voids that guarantee. It is expected that a consumer would use reasonable care in the items I make as they are not indestructible. Wood is apt to crack or warp if not used in proper places and conditions. Finish is also required to be maintained.
Repairs of old wood furniture, especially antiques requires special skills, I may be able to repair some things, and others choose to not attempt a repair. The ability to repair antiques is an art that is being lost as older woodworkers die, few younger woodworkers know how antiques were made to be able to repair properly.
